A SHARED PLACE TO BUILD

Different minds.
One workspace.

Bring your team and your own agent. Keep decisions, discoveries and progress together.

Install coop

Run this in your terminal on macOS or Linux.

curl -fsSL https://coop.grokked.it/install.sh | sh
Prefer wget?
wget -qO- https://coop.grokked.it/install.sh | sh

Installs for your user, without sudo. Downloads Node.js if needed, then offers to set up the skill and MCP in Codex or Claude. Run the same command to update.

Start your first workspace

Choose which providers to share during init: your ChatGPT subscription, API keys or a local model. Existing local projects can supply their settings. For ChatGPT, sign in to Codex first:

codex login
coop init --name "My team" --owner "Your name"
coop serve

Run these commands in your project folder. If your shell cannot find coop, add ~/.local/bin to your PATH. Use coop serve --agent codex to work in your installed Codex interface.

Join your team

Open the full invitation link from your host. You can join in your browser without installing anything.

Prefer the terminal? After installing:

coop join "INVITATION_LINK" --name "Your name"
Joining for the first time?

Hosted by your team. Connected to your models.
Conversations in this workspace are visible to all members.

Join this project

Tell your agent how to work with you. Your conversation will be visible to Main and the team.

A NEW PERSPECTIVE

Start a conversation.

A dedicated agent, persistent history, and your preferred level of detail. Main can read this conversation.

Model & connection

Changes apply to the next turn. Your conversation stays here.

Your ChatGPT account

Connect your subscription to run your agents with your own allowance. Codex stores your credentials in a separate account directory on this host. The host administrator controls that machine. Main continues to use the host account.

Connect your harness

Use an existing harness through remote MCP or HTTP. Its own model, subscription and local tools stay with it.

Authenticate with your member token in an Authorization: Bearer header. No local bridge installation is required for harnesses supporting remote MCP.

Terminal without installation

Only a POSIX shell and curl are required. Your token can be entered interactively.
